We all have heard about the genius Leonardo Da Vinci, his name itself says a lot already, countless museums, galleries, theaters and so much more are named after his name…he is one of the greatest figures of the High Renaissance, who lived his grateful life from 1452 until 1519, unfortunately not enough, he could leave so much more…only if could live longer.

He was and still is the greatest painter, sculptor, engineer and scientist. He started his life and career as a painter in Florence, a city of art, than later on he moved permanently to Rome and Milan, and the final years of his great life he spent in France, working as an artist, Leonardo produced many paintings, but only few have survived…

This incredible talented Florentine artist, thinker and scientist was the most versatile genius of the Italian Renaissance and one of the time´s best and influential artist. Da Vinci was born in a small town near Vinci, his father was a notary, and Leonardo was his illegitimate son by a peasant girl, he was blessed with unconditional charm and beauty.

As just few of his works have survived, the Court of Milan in London exhibits Da Vinci’s rare surviving paintings ever shown. Held at the National Gallery, this features the Renaissance artist’s development as a painter in the late-15th century. The exhibition will include pieces borrowed from museums like the Louvre , that haven’t been seen in UK, and also the famous National Gallery’s own recently restored The Virgin of the Rocks. So come to enjoy this genius art and paintings, it´s started already from November and will last until the early of February.
